The Fetish is another pedal designed by Todd Wolfgram for Malekko. It is a 2-stage class A preamp boost distortion and, like the other Wolftone pedals, it is extremely musical and quite responsive to your picking dynamics. Doesn't matter if you run humbuckers or single coils, it still stays clear and articulate with ease of modulation between light and heavy distortion, depending on your pick dynamics. It is capable of smooth and even transitions from loud to clean sounds. The Field switch will change the characteristics of the distortion and will also determine the frequencies that the Push knob will emphasize. The Push knob increases low end response, ranging rom chunky overdrive to pretty heavy high gain distortion and takes new life in each Field switch setting. This effect loses no low end, thus making it killer for bass guitar as well!
