As Gibson emerged from the Norlin years in the late 80's into the 90's they established a new identity and higher quality standards, and in turn made some really fine instruments in these years, considered some of their best in the modern era.
This is a stunner: a 1990 Gibson Les Paul Standard Limited Colours Edition - a rare "one year only" edition made in small quantities of only 200 guitars per finish, and this Transparent Blue with original gold hardware might be the coolest of them all. The neck is closest to a 60s-style profile but has a bit of shoulder to it - plays great up and down the neck with minimal fret wear.
It has an older headstock repair directly below the Limited Colours badge on the joint and is the sort of common U-shaped fracture that extends to the headstock face but has been professionally repaired and is structurally sound. Repair aside this one is in really fine condition - played like any great guitar should, but cleaner than most and completely stock - the pickups sound great, it plays beautifully, and we can't stop staring at it.
Original brown case with pink lining included.
