Here at RnRV we have become your 60's Epiphone go-to store, and for good reasons: First, we totally dig them and they set the player apart from the crowd, and it's worth noting that Epiphone guitars are the bargain of the vintage guitar market. In this era Epiphone guitars were made with the same amazing tone-woods by the same talented builders as every other Gibson coming off the line in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA.
These Olympics are the brethren to the Gibson Melody Makers of the era, but with a bit more substantial body and inarguably cooler "batwing" headstock. Distinctive, yes. This one has a very minor and stable pro-repaired small joint crack from the end of the headstock to the short distance to the low "E" tuner - again...minor, but worth noting, as are the replaced but interesting vintage metal knobs. They're cool. This one has a fully stock and original vibrola which are so often removed from these. Consider it a bonus and a great opportunity to get your style on.
Lightweight at 6lbs, 7oz., fabulously resonant, and a great player.
Includes non-original hardshell case.
