The Microtubes Vintage is Darkglass' nod to those legendary rock tones. Providing warm, tube-like tones with a natural sounding dynamic response, you will notice that it will echo the natural compression of a vintage tube amp or reel-to-reel tape machines. The four knobs give you control over the Level, Drive, Blend, and Era. The Era is what makes this pedal unique as it interacts with the Drive knob to shape the overall character of the effect. When you have it dialed down, you'll get warm midrange tones reminiscent of the 70's. When you crank it up you get the punchy, bass/treble tones of 80's and 90's rock. A lot of tonal possibilities can be achieved in this little guy!
