Cool little department store special type small bodied acoustic. Looks to be a Silvertone but it is not branded nor are there any stamps on it. Looks 60's but could be earlier as it has a flat fingerboard which is pretty rare in the 60s and onward. It's mahogany throughout with a dark fretboard of undetermined wood.
There is repaired crack on the back and on the top center seam behind the bridge. Due to the age this one is a candidate for a neck re-set if you want to fret it, but as-is it is more suitable as an open-tuning slide guitar. It sounds nice and purdy with both steel and glass slides. Tons of personality in this one, which is lacking these days.
