It is no surprise that the most copied guitar in the world is also one of the best. Builders all across the globe pay tribute each and every day to this classic form. This one looks to have a pine body, referencing the very first to be built in Fullerton. The body is double-bound for that Custom look and the finish was sprayed with the same type of dye in the sunburst so the red has all but faded from the top, though you can still see it under the guard. The previous owner wanted that Keef look and sound so it was routed for a humbucker in the neck. There is a Gibson Burstbucker installed right now, not sure the make of the bride pickup but it sounds like you'd expect. Please note, though this item has a Fender logo it is NOT a Fender guitar. The builder did sign their name in the pocket but it isn't fully readable. There is lots of wear in the paint and some wood chipped out around the string ferrules. Plays great, sounds great. 7.5 lbs.
