If this beauty doesn't make your heart skip a beat then you must be dead. The black-on-black with maple neck look is a 70's signature that has never gone out of style. Thankfully I can report that this is no mere "looker." Plug it in and bask in the rich and lush sound that sparkles like water in the moonlight. It was re-fretted somewhere along the way so they have good height to them and isn't something you'll need to deal with any time soon. Just like most 1970's Fenders this one is made up a heavier piece of ash so it's feels very solid and more like a Les Paul at 9.3 lbs. Good sized neck, not too big, not too small. The guitar looks its age with plenty of wear in the paint but no cracks or breaks. There's a couple of mystery holes under the neck plate that go into the neck but the plate covers them up. Maybe someone fell for the hype of "the more screws the better" and added some, but who really knows. Despite that I can report that this Strat totally rules and will not disappoint. Feel free to contact us with any questions and thanks for looking.
