Keeley has found people a little unsure about the Java Boost. So they would like to make sure you read about what it does. It is NOT AT ALL related to the TS9 or Blues Driver, or any other distortion or overdrive pedal. Boss and Ibanez do not make anything like it! This is a very unique Keeley pedal.
It is a Treble Booster by design, not a typical overdrive or distortion pedal. That means, the higher the note played, the more it gets amplified... and then, by your amp, distorted. Bass Notes get Cut in two of the modes on the Java Boost!
It is most widely used with a tube amp set to a bit of overdrive or clipping. That is the key to getting a great sound from this pedal. For example, setting the java boost infront of a very clean amp with the volume on 1-2 will surely result in a fairly weak guitar tone! ;-)
Set the amp for some breakup, then click the java on. There, you'll have a fantastic sound and see why people rave about the Java Boost.

The Keeley Katana Boost pedal - As far as guitar clean boosts go, the Katana is KING TONE. It's the Keeley pedal to have for the finishing touch on your tone. Want a mirror image of your tone, only louder? This is it. The Katana is also a fat, harmonically rich boost, just pull out on the volume knob and stretch your imagination with overdriven tone! You can keep it on all the time to push your amp harder, or as an occasional boost to cut through the mix.
Keeley Modded Boss DD-3 Digital Delay
Keeley Boss DD-3 delay - There are two parts to this mod. First, "SWITCHABLE ANALOG FEEL" and then and EFFECTS LOOP! Players can now take the industry standard compact delay and select between 2 different smoothing caps that give it an analog delay feel or set it for the stock sound! All of this via a small three way toggle switch. Keeley transforms the Direct Out of the stock BOSS DD-3 and convert it into an effects loop so that you can add any effect to Just the Repeats!!! Imagine adding slight chorus or phase to the signal so that you can simulate tape effects, warble, wobble, or any other vintage/modern effect you can dream up! You'd be hard pressed to find another delay pedal that gives you this amount of creativity, just a great sounding stomp box.
